After four beautiful years ..,.
Dear wonderful meditators,
Last week in meditation, I was sitting with a familiar and recurring feeling ... that it may be time to close this chapter of The Meditation Box.
I write this full of very. mixed emotions but also a small ripening sense of expansion.
When I first released the Foundation Box (June 2022) it coincided with my birthday ... it felt like a sign, and a gift to myself. I made a quiet promise then to nurture this offering for five years, giving it time to grow and unfold.
Well, here we are, almost four years later. And as we know, nothing stays still ... the seasonal cycle turns, the wheel of life moves, and the world around us continues to shift and reshape itself. The 'Box' was born in a very particular time, during the stillness and uncertainty of lockdown, when many of us were turning inward in a shared way. What began there has moved through seasons of change, both personally and collectively, and now feels like it is gently arriving at its own natural conclusion.
This has always been something deeply heart-filling for me. Every box was packed with intention and care, quietly blessed before leaving my hands. And, over the years, I’ve received such beautiful messages, shared conversations with kindred spirits, and connections with incredibly creative people who helped shape each season.
As we move through Autumn’s theme of Forgiveness and Letting Go, it feels fitting that our final offering will be the Winter 'Yin' Box.
Winter has always represented rest, stillness, retreat and quiet restoration, the turning inward season, and I feel this ending is simply asking the same of me.
I feel incredibly proud of what this became. Proud that I trusted the idea enough to begin, with no prior experience in product, sourcing or logistics. Proud that I stayed devoted through changing seasons of life and business. And proud that something created so softly could still reach people so deeply.
